THE "TAVULLIA LAND OF CHAMPIONS" HISTORICAL RALLY
Great success for participants on Sunday 12 September, per the Gathering of Historic Cars "Tavullia Terra di Campioni", organized from "Land of Pilots and Motors" in collaboration with the "Dorino Serafini" Pesaro Historic Center, strongly wanted by the Administration of Tavullia with the Mayor Francesca Paolucci in the lead. 
An event that celebrated the Pesaro-Tavullia union, whose administrations have "created" the "Land of Pilots and Engines" project, became regional law, to enhance the heritage and rich history of engines in the Marche region. “Land of Pilots and Engines” is dedicated in addition to the enhancement of engines, in particular to the knowledge of the enchanting landscapes of our province and region, through car and motorcycle tourism initiatives.
But let's get to the Gathering, 30 splendid historic cars: from the nice "Bianchina Cabriolet", passing through Mercedes, Alfa Romeo, the splendid MG TD, the rare Innocenti "IM 4", the inevitable 600, to get to the "Queens" Maserati and Ferrari, they "lined up" on Sunday morning in Piazza del Popolo. After the credit operations, took place according to the health protocols in force and the invigorating breakfast, escorted by the motorcycles of the "Moto Ducali" Club, the "nobles" on four wheels, they moved along the route to Belvedere Fogliense, crossing the Pesaro hills. In the small, suggestive and panoramic Borgo, the crews were enthusiastically welcomed by the Pro-Loco, who set up a rich buffet based on local specialties for the welcome drink. After the tasty break, departure for Tavullia, central pivot of the event. A visit to cultural sites, and obviously the Store “VR46”, then all to "Ristorante da Rossi" who welcomed the participants and guests, with the delights of the Chef. Concluded lunch after the interventions and thanks from the Mayor Francesca Paolucci, by the Councilor for Sport of the Municipality of Pesaro Mila Della Dora, of the Director of "Land of Pilots and Engines", Raffaella Rossini and the vice-president of "Dorino Serafini" Danilo Crescentini, here is the "gem" to give a competitive verve to the meeting conceived by the Club ,or a time trial skill test around the walls of Tavullia, complete with official timekeepers and standings. 
As always happens in these cases, all declare a spirit of participation in the "De Coubertin", then after seeing the cups for the top ten, as well as being in Tavullia, in the home of a "certain" pilot … that has made competitions a reason for living, here is that the tussle is "unleashed". 
Of course in a friendly way, also because the test is less than 200 meters had to be covered in an imposed time calculated on an average of about 30 km/h, so…away from the businesses of the #46 most famous in the world. The test was won by the crew formed by the expert in regularity races Fabrizio Siliquini, sailed by the equally expert Francesco Cangiotti aboard the splendid and rare Maserati Ghibli. Worth mentioning is the interesting performance of the "family" of the Councilor della Dora. At her absolute debut in a "race" with her husband at the wheel, the nice Mila to act as navigator and their cute little children to incite them from the rear seats of the Autobianchi A112, made available by the Crescentini family's “Legend Garage” collection, they got a brilliant 9th place overall, complete with a trophy. It ended with comments and thanks from the participants ,for the beautiful day organized as always impeccably by Terra di Piloti e Motori from the "Dorino Serafini" Club to which was added the hospitality of the Administration of Tavullia.
