Sportsmanship index
The 29 last August the authoritative economic newspaper “ll Sole24ore” has published the usual annual survey on sportsmanship in the Italian provinces, comparing 32 indicators divided into four categories: sports facility, team sports, individual sports, sports and society. In practice, the social impact of sport on the life of citizens is analyzed by evaluating the results of each individual territory, taking into account investment in sport, the results of sports clubs, the big ones and the small ones, obviously for all sports.
The provinces of the Marches are placed in great location among the first 50 are 107 province ( Macerated 15°, Pesaro-Urbino 37th, Ancona 39°, Ascoli Piceno 47° and Fermo 48°), confirming the good management of sport by the public administrations, of sports clubs, of the various associations and in general of the citizens of the Marche region.
As for our industry in particular, the classification relating to the stands out “Engines“, where the Province of Pesaro and Urbino is placed at second place in Italy (behind the Province of Rimini,where we believe that the induced by Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli , formerly Santamonica International Circuit, make a difference), followed by the other provinces of the Marches, also in an excellent position ( Stopped 12th, Macerated 25°, Ascoli Piceno 32° and Ancona 40°).
The interesting fact is that the province of Pesaro and Urbino ranks ahead of the provinces of Ravenna, Forli-Cesena, Modena ,Bologna, Reggio Emilia in a Region where public investments, set aside to accomplish the Motor Valley, in order to enhance prestigious brands such as Ferrari,Lamborghini, Ducati,etc., they were very large.
Our Association 'Land of Drivers and Engines ‘, incorporated in 2017 by the Municipalities of Pesaro and Tavullia in order to implement the regional law in question, has operated throughout the region, intervening, within the limits of their possibilities, and was able to count on limited regional funding, but intended to collaborate fully with the organizers of events relating to motoring and motorbike tourism which were held throughout the regional territory, as in previous years.
The result obtained, which also meant an important tourist induced due to the motor enthusiasts who went to our Region, they were able to visit museums, collections and participated in the various events etc., confirms the important work of the Association.
