The race of Cingoli (MC) concludes the “tricolor” rally season on gravel 2022.
The best of Italian rallying referred to dirt races, it will be in Cingoli and surroundings in mid-November, in fact, opening the hypothetical seasonal finishing straight with the classic "piesse", also in this case derived from tradition.
The perfect organization of the PRS Group, with the strong support of the Municipal Administration of Cingoli and the Municipality of Cupramontana, worked hard to organize the event, to whom EARTH DRIVERS ENGINES did not miss his support.
The race counts in total 9 Special tests, 3 to repeat 3 volte, with the total length of the route of km. 220 which km 57 of Special Tests. Here they are, presented in their details:
Shakedown "Colognola" (km 2,630): Classic shakedown already used in previous editions. It starts from the town of Colognola in the direction of Valcarecce. It very much reflects the characteristics of the special stages of the race, having fast and slow strokes in succession, with a bottom in good repair. Its localization is optimal for teams, as it is located a short distance from the Service Park.
PS 1/4/7 "Of the Lakes" (km 8,520): It is a classic test of the Rally delle Marche, even if it has been shortened due to the damage caused by the recent flood. It starts uphill with a medium-fast pace, then towards the middle of the test there is the fastest section with a succession of fast and straight corners in which there is also a chicane. At the end of this part it resumes with an ups and downs that alternate slow curves with other medium-fast ones, that require a continuous change of pace. The final part, after a small stretch of asphalt, interests a narrow and rough path, a little different in type than the rest of the test. Very beautiful and selective test, with a smooth and compact bottom, it has the characteristic of being fast and visible for long stretches from the top of the track. It will certainly be a special that will make the standings for the maximum concentration that it will require from the drivers.
PS 2/5/8 “Cupramontana” (km 6,040): New for the Rally delle Marche, but it has already been covered several times by the Rally Adriatico. The start is on a slight slope, but immediately afterwards the road begins to descend with medium-fast curves until it reaches the asphalt junction of San Michele. From here it resumes climbing with slow curves, but then the pace speeds up again once you get back to the top with a series of fast corners; in the central part there was also a slowdown chicane before a bump. In the last kilometer it slows down again with medium-slow curves on a narrow and undulating surface. It is a demanding special stage, although not very long. It will require your full attention and concentration.
PS 3/6/9 "Colognola" (km 4,400): Test already done in the past, shortened in the initial part, and which partially uses the shakedown layout. It starts at the gates of San Pietro Acqualta and the first section is uphill and winding with a compact bottom, but at times wavy. Arrived in the vicinity of Colognola you face a small, very treacherous downhill stretch of asphalt, to then return to the land in the path used in the shakedown. In this second part the route speeds up while remaining almost entirely uphill and with a fund in good condition. Very technical test that despite its limited length can still make a difference.
