The twenty-year-old pilot from Pesaro lands in “GT World Challenge Europe” Sprint Series, Entirely hilly route that touches three regions Honda NSX GT 3 treated as always by Nova Race
The Championship "Sponsored" by Fanatec is the most important series reserved for Gran Turismo "Super cars"., which is disputed on the most important and glorious European racetracks. For DiFabio, just turned twenty, it is an important and fundamental point of arrival for his young career. After only four years of competitions, the Pesaro already boasts three titles in his showcase: the victory of the “Lite” Class Mini Challenge Championship on its debut at just 16 years, which was followed by the prestigious Italian titles obtained in the Gran Turismo Championship: the first in the “Sprint Series” GT class 4 AM with the Mercedes GT4 AMG ,and last year in the Italian Gran Turismo "Endurance" Class GT3 AM at the wheel of the Honda NSX GT 3, treated as well as the Mercedes by the prestigious and highly decorated Team Nova Race.
THE NEW CHALLENGE AND THE TESTS- The new important challenge for Diego began last week with collective tests on the demanding and glorious French circuit of "Paul Ricard". As in all pre-season tests, the focus is on tuning the car, moreover, for Di Fabio it was the first time on the not easy racetrack of the Côte d'Azur, with the presence on the track of over forty cars that will participate in the two GT WORLD series , la “Sprint” , divided into two one-hour races per weekend where Diego will be engaged, it's on "Endurance". Always "guided" by the D.S. of the Nova Race and his mentor Christian Pescatori , Di Fabio thanks to his already consolidated experience and determination that brought him up to the GT World in such a short time, without looking for sharps and with a limited availability of tyres ,however, he scored a significant fifteenth time. As mentioned, many of the big names certainly hid or didn't force themselves looking for performance,just as it is equally true that Di Fabio didn't push his Honda to the max either, for this the Pesaro time trial is to be considered more than satisfactory. Di Fabio will soon carry out another private test at the "Marco Simoncelli" in Misano, flanked by his partner Erwin Zanotti. A high championship for Diego and his partner, made possible thanks to an ever-involved pool of companies that believe in the young Pesaro who has already reciprocated with striking results.
THE “CURIOUS” CHALLENGE- With the arrival of Di Fabio in the GT World Challenge Europe, there will be a curious and undoubtedly exciting challenge entirely made in Pesaro, among the most titled "Doctor" in the world Valentino Rossi, this year at the wheel of the B.M.W. and precisely Diego.
