From the 11th to 17 September, The traditional appointment with the Benelli Week returns to Pesaro, event dedicated to all motorcyclists and enthusiasts of the Casa del Leoncino.

The demonstration, organized by Registro Storico Benelli and Motoclub Tonino Benelli, with the collaboration of Benelli QJ, it is open to all brands and types of motorcycles and this year it is dedicated to two great champions: Jarno Saarinen and Renzo Pasolini.

In 2023 in fact, it is the 50th anniversary of that tragedy 20 May 1973, in which the two drivers lost their lives together in a terrible accident at the Nations Grand Prix in Monza. A day that remained indelible in the hearts of all fans, who during Benelli Week will have the opportunity to honor the memory of the two champions, also thanks to a program full of events dedicated to two wheels, between motorcycle tours to discover the area, theme nights, visits to museums and the natural beauty of the Marche.

PROGRAM

Monday 11 SEPTEMBER: Mount Cucco
Meeting at the Benelli museum in viale Mameli at 3:00 pm 8.30 and departure at 9.00 for a walk in the Umbria-Marche Apennines up to Monte Cucco (1.566 metri slm). Apennine woods, rolling hills and panoramic roads will be the setting for an entire day between the Marche and Umbria regions. Stop for lunch and return to Pesaro for hours 17.00 after traveling approximately 220 km.
Tuesday 12 SEPTEMBER: Offagna
Meeting at the Benelli museum in viale Mameli at 3:00 pm 8.30 and departure at 9.00 with destination Offagna, a village of medieval origins perched on the Conero hills where today it is still possible to breathe the atmosphere of the past. Specialized guides will accompany us through the narrow alleys of the characteristic location in the Marche region. Lunch stop on the seafront of Marina di Montemarciano. Total path of 170 km, return to Pesaro for the hours 17.00
Wednesday 13 SEPTEMBER: Monte Nerone
Meeting at the Benelli museum in viale Mameli at 3:00 pm 8.30 and departure at 9.00 for the "classic" of Benelli Week: Mount Nero. After crossing the splendid villages of Montefeltro, go up the most motorcycling road up to Monte Nerone (1.525 m slm). Stop for lunch and return to Pesaro at 3:00 pm 17.00 after traveling 170 km.
Thursday 14 SEPTEMBER: Castelluccio of Norcia
Meeting at the Benelli museum in viale Mameli at 3:00 pm 7.30 and departure at 8.00 with destination Castelluccio di Norcia, the roof of the Apennines (mt 1452 slm) in the heart of the Sibillini Mountains, the ideal point to admire Mount Vettore (2500 mt slm) which unites the Marche and Umbria regions. Lunch stop on the Castelluccio plateau, one of the largest in central Italy. Total route 400 km of which 150 on the highway. Return to Pesaro at 3:00 pm 18.00.
Friday 15 SEPTEMBER: Monte Cerignone and Tavullia
Meeting at the Benelli museum in viale Mameli from 3.00 pm 8.30 and departure at 9.00 with destination Monte Cerignone with a visit to the 12th century fortress. The Gothic Line road will take us to Tavullia for a lunch stop. Then it will be the wonderful Adriatic panoramic road that will take us back to Pesaro for hours 17 after traveling 130 km.

Saturday 16 SEPTEMBER:
Fonte Avellana Monte Catria Meeting at the Benelli museum in viale Mameli from hours 8.30 and departure at 9.00 with destination Fonte Avellana Monastery located on the wooded slopes of Mount Catria (1701 m.) a 700 meters above sea level. Its origins lie around 980 when some hermits chose to build the first cells of a hermitage which over the centuries would become the current monastery. After the visit, departure towards Gola del Furlo for a lunch stop. After traveling approx 160 km return to Pesaro at hours 17.00
Sunday 17 SEPTEMBER: ASI meeting "The Music of the Motorcycle"
Meeting at the Benelli museum in viale Mameli from 3.00 pm 7,30 and departure at 9,30 with destination the Franciscan sanctuary of Beato Sante in the eight hundredth year of its foundation, founded in 1223, located in the municipality of Mombaroccio on the top of a hill 393 m s.l.m. After the guided tour of the sanctuary and the musical performance with the arias of Gioacchino Rossini, departure for Pesaro, crossing Candelara and Gradara and the inevitable Panoramica until the final parade and stop for lunch on the Pesaro seafront.
